Using the soothing guidance of Sara Mader's custom-scripted visualization exercise, participants will be asked to tap into their senses and explore an internal world of self-discovery. Trained in meditation, breathwork and Pilates, Sara offers a wealth of knowledge to her clients, always prioritizing comfort and safety. Attendees will gather in cozy clothes and enjoy the ride as Sara takes us through a 30-40 minute visualization exercise. You can lay down, sit up, or anything that allows you to tap into your senses.
Upon completion, Kristen will invite participants to begin their "art journaling" experience. Not everyone enjoys writing in a journal, but have you ever tried capturing your thoughts through images, shapes, words and collage? We will translate the things that come up in our visualization onto the blank pages of your very own Kristen Herrington Art custom printed notebook! You will go home with your notebook and hope this can become a regular practice. Maybe you capture a sound, scent or touch, rather than just the imagery. Kristen has completed a 6-month program with "Sensory Friendly Solutions" allowing her to encourage new ways of thinking about accessibility and sensory sensitivities.
You will be sent home with your notebook to continue art journaling. All art supplies are provided. Suitable for beginners, or those who dare say "I'm not an artist!" This session is meant to explore new parts of yourself, your senses and how that translates to a creative expression.
