Sara spent just under a decade working in the spa industry and developed a real feel for high end skincare products. A self proclaimed product snob! In the last five years Sara started really paying attention to what she was putting in and on her body and when she started to look into the ingredients in those high end products she didn’t like what she found.

Making the shift to natural skincare products she just wasn’t able to find something that met the feel and quality she has become accustomed to. Seeing a real gap in the market she set out to develop a line of products that would meet her expectation of quality.

Why tallow?

Tallow has been used for centuries to heal skin, as it’s the most similar to our own natural sebum (skin oil). It is a very healthy fat that contains a wide array of all the beneficial nutrients that our skin needs to repair itself, like vitamins A, B12, D, E, and K, fatty acids (alpha linoleic and linoleic acids), conjugated linoleic acid making it anti inflammatory and is also antimicrobial, along with many other healing properties.

Fatty Cake Beauty products are handcrafted in small batch to ensure high quality each and every time. Each product is made with local 100% grass fed beef tallow.
